The MTL TP48 Series Protector is designed to safeguard field-operated instruments without requiring any modifications to the instruments. Simply screw the TP48 directly onto their unused incoming wire holes. While providing comprehensive protection, it does not interfere with normal operations and automatically restores once the surge is discharged. To accommodate different transmitters, the TP48 comes in various thread hole diameters, with intrinsically safe and explosion-proof models suitable for use in hazardous areas.
